What is the most costly thing in the world as per life is concerned?
It should be IGNORANCE. In the aspects of ICT all people opt to be Digitally updated on the dynamic Technological innovations and developments.But why?... Simply because ICT is Dynamic, Computer engineers,program developers , Ethical and unethical are continuously developing and coming up with more effective programs which may trespass our computers and other devices installed security.
Currently, programmers and other computer specialist are tiresly working on innovations of the existing ICT programs or systems and innovating even more superior programs. Artificial intelligence (AI) and Robotics are now being used in big Companies with an aim of increasing their Profit and reducing the cost of production. These eventually leads to Job Replacement to many , hence affecting the life of many. This is a challenge to all of us and we continue intagrating ICT in our areas of Specialization.
Just think about this scenario, ....You are doing some transactions like You are withdrawing money from an ATM ,you insert your ATM card on the ATM Machine, it asks you for password and amount to withdraw and enters them on prompt (withdrawing Kshs 500,000). Then prints out the receipt for the withdrawal but no money dispatched for you to collect. Only to know later that somebody somewhere had hacked the ATM Machine and stole your money.
Scenario two, You're sending some money to your family or. Sending money to your company manager to pay wages to workers then somebody somewhere taps the money and redirected to a different account. How would you feel?... Really it's a very bad experience.
You may be a very highly educated and skilled person on ICT areas, but you need to update yourself on new innovations and inventions to be safe and sure of any development on ICT as we used our computer devices.
Really their is a great need to update our ICT skills and knowledge often as we can to be safe and comfortable as we carry out our daily activities.
